I’m most excited to see Dr. Carlos Gonzalez.
Dr. Carlos Gonzalez is who I would love to hear.
I’m not a IBCLC, may I attend as a Postpartum Doula?
Patti: all are welcome, including doulas and peer-to-peer supporters. We hope you will join us! Please note that as a breastfeeding supporter, you are entitled to the “student” rate. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Dr Thomas Hale, Medications & Mothers Milk – invaluable tool for IBCLC’s!
I’m most interested in hearing about the talks on growth charts!
Carlos Gonzalez! My favorite quote from “My Child Won’t Eat,” about trying to get a 9-month-old to eat an entire banana: “Where will the banana go?
Beyond BFHI: The Expansion of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative to Neonatal Care – Laura Haiek, MD, MSc Sounds super interesting
Katie Hinde!
I would love to hear Dr Laura Haiek discuss Beyond BFHI!
I would love to hear Carlos Gonzalez on growth charts! So interesting!
Katie Hinde!!
I’m excited about listening to Laura Haiek and Katie Hinde. Being a hospital based LC going through baby friendly and expanding to a level 3 NICU is exciting and challenging. Many times I also find myself justifying our organization as a whole influence on breastfeeding outcomes.
I’d love to hear the Beyond BFHI talk.
Hard to pick just one!! looking forward to Thomas Hale’s updates
Hard to pick just one, but I’m looking forward to hearing Carlos Gonzalez talk about growth charts. BFHI in the NICU and how breastmilk organizes babies are also bound to be interesting.
This is very hard, everyone is good. Love Dr Kathleen Marinelli soooo much! But if I really have to, I will have to pick “New Developments in Pharmacotherapy during Lactation – Thomas Hale, RPh, PhD.”
Growth charts, use and misuse will be interesting especially relating to head circumference and Zika.
Tom Hale!
How to pick just one?! I’d love to hear Dr. Hale’s talk.
I wish I could be there and I would love to hear The Global Baby-Friendly Impact: Making a World of Difference – Panel Discussion with Maureen Dann, PPCNP-BC, IBCLC; Laura Haiek, MD, MSc; Elise Chapin, MEd, IBCLC; Trish MacEnroe, BS, CDN, CLC; Kathleen Marinelli, MD, IBCLC, FABM. Now that more hospitals are Baby Friendly understanding the positive impact the 10 steps make is so important. I think the entire staff and some in administration at some hospitals that have received the BFHI are still not 100% on board. I see this in my area. Many things have improved because the local hospital has become Baby Friendly, but I see too many not getting the care they want, ask for and need. The more evidence we have, the more BFHI supporters can help work to continue education to support the climate and culture of the best breastfeeding practices.
Jane Bradshaw RN, IBCLC, RLC
Most excited to hear Katie Hinde!
Carlos Gonzalez’ talk
Beyond BFHI, into the NICU!
Dr. Hale
Carlos González, MD! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thomas Hale!
Laura haiek’s talk sounds interesting as a hospital based Ibclc!
Hi Im Shacchee an IBCLC from india.
Tried my best for the scholarship coz wanted to hear everyone live but do not have financial means to travel n attend !Unfortunately didnt get one😞. AlthoughThe theme is very significant for my country as we have dismal breastfeeding rates and v less BFHI accredited hospitals and I was hoping to learn by interacting with LCs frm all over the world. The most I
Was looking forward to listening to ( and interacting with) is Dr Hale. There are soo many misconceptions about breastfeeding and medicines..Im trying my best to educate myself so dat i cn guide people better! 😊.
Thomas Hale!
Carlos Gonzalez!
Hinde and hale
I would love to hear Dr. Hale!
I’d love to listen /see Dr. Carlos Gonzalez
What a wonderful opportunity this would be for an aspiring IBCLC, to listen to such talent. Since 4 years ago listening to Ginny Baker talk about Dr. Hale at my CLEC training I have wanted a chance to hear him. Thank you.
Definitely Dr Carlos Gonzalez
There are so many great sessions, but I’m really interested in Carlos González, MD’s talk on growth charts!
Beyond BFHI: The Expansion of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative to Neonatal Care – Laura Haiek, MD, MSc – hoping to make our hospital a baby friendly one!!
I would like to hear Thomas Hale! And everyone else too . Would make a great prize to win as I might be spending a lot of time at home then nursing my newborn . If baby is ” on time” 🙂
Looking forward to hearing Dr Hale speak! As a WHNP and IBCLC, pharmacology updates are very important to my work.
Looking forward to hear Laura Haiek. Looks like such a great lineup of speakers as always!
I’d love to hear the talk on growth charts! I can’t even say how many times I’ve heard laments about the growth charts from people who apparently never took a good look at the baby!
Dr. Hale
Laura Haiek, MD, MSc, as I’m involved in opening a new women’s Ctr., hitting the ground running BFHI !!!!
Would love to hear all of them! But, certainly Dr. Hale is an individual I am looking forward to hearing from. Would love a chance to live stream with you all!
-Heather Aguayo, MilkMomology
Jane Morton….I know she’s not on the live streaming list. Would love for the whole thing to be purchased later. My employer will not help with expenses, so not able to attend…
I would love to be able to watch Dr Carlos Gonzalez!
I would enjoy all the sessions but I am especially interested in hearing how I can, as a CBE and CLC help prepare mamas for a more successful BF experience. Prenatal Breastfeeding Education, by Kathy Parry, MPH, IBCLC, LMBT and Kristin Tully, PhD will be my first choice.
Thomas Hale!
I would love to hear Dr.Thomas Hale.
I want to hear Dr Hinde!
I’m really excited to hear Dr. Hale!
Thomas hale!!! My email us stephamsel1@gmail.com

Thomas Hale. Breastfeeding mothers are always concerned when prescribed a new medication. staying update on the new development of pharmaceuticals is very crucial in my profession.
Dr Hale
Dr. Hale. Always.
All of them! If I really had to pick just one I’m most interested in I’ll go with Beyond BFHI: The Expansion of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative to Neonatal Care by Laura Haiek, MD, MSc.
Would love to hear Dr Hale’s discussion.
Dr. Hale!
Dr Hale. Pharmacology updates
Dr. Hale!
What a collection great speakers – choosing just one is SO hard! I think I would most like to hear Dr. Carlos Gonzales speak about Growth Charts.
As an L&D nurse, I often get to help out in the NICU. So I’m excited to see how the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative will be expanded to Neonatal Care by Dr Laura Haiek!!!
Carlos Gonzalez (and Katie Hinde)!
Interested in Dr. Hale’s update!
Interested in Dr Hale’s new updates
Looking forward to hearing from Dr Laura Haiek and learning more about baby friendly hospital initiatives ☺
I am looking forward to learning from Carlos Gonzalez. The growth charts and different growing patterns are very controversial topics when you are working in the field. He is a wonderful speaker.
Dr. Hale

Beyond BFHI: The Expansion of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative to Neonatal Care – Laura Haiek, MD I think– though it all looks wonderful. But there is such a need in the NICU!
Dr. Hinde – I’ve been reading such research in my lactation studies.
Dr. Hale!
I wish I could attend this year this great conference. I look forward to hearing Dr. Laura Haiek on the subject of Baby-Friendly Expansion to the NICU.

I am most interested in hearing Laura Haiek, MD, MSc speak. Lots going on in our hospital with this!
Would love to hear Dr. Hale!
The sessions all sound good, but I’d especially like to hear Dr. Hale’s presentation.
Brand new IBCLC as of this year! Would love to hear all, but Dr. Hale would be my pick if I could choose just one. Studying his books just helped me pass the April 2016 exam. Wish I could afford to attend, but brand new and no job yet, can’t do it this year. Hope to one day 🙂
I am looking forward to hearing Dr. Hale!!! 😊
Carlos Gonzales
I would love to hear it all! I previously met Dr Hale at ILCA in 2008. Would love to hear him speak again.

I would love the opprotunity to hear Dr.Hale! It would be very useful in my career!! 🙂
Thomas Hale
I am especially interested in what Dr. Haiek has to say about Baby Friendly expansion to the NICU.
It’s hard to narrow it down – it’s between Carlos Gonzales & Dr. Hale, but looking forward to all of the speakers!
Terribly difficult to choose just one, but I’ll go with Dr. Hale as I get so many questions from clients about medications and breastfeeding.
Dr. Hale, for sure!
Can’t wait to hear from Dr. Hale! And all the speakers really!
Dr Gonzalez!
Dr. Hale gives the best talks.
Yes Dr Hale, I would love to hear his lecture.
I would love to hear Dr. Hale
Thomas Hale, though I’m pretty excited about all the talks.

The whole conference sounds fabulous, but I’m most interested to hear from Thomas Hale!
Very excited to hear Carlos Gonzales with vital feedback on the use of WHO growth charts.
Carlos Gonzlez and growth charts — so important!
Oh, it is hard to choose between the speakers and interesting topics they are addressing. My interest would go out to hear Katie Hinde speak on the organizational effects of mothers milk on infant outcome! So wonderful that you give the opportunity to follow from a distance. Thank you!
All lectures worth hearing and I would like to hear all but the favourite one for me is “Beyond BFHI The Expansion of the Baby Freindly hospital initiative to neonatal care”By ” laura Haick, beacause I am an Egyptian neonatologist and My aim to make my hospital a baby freindly hospital and iniating the ten steps and teain my staff, supporting breast feeding mothers.
Finally Good Luck
Dr Hale would be great to hear!
Laura Haiek Expansion of BFHI to neonatal care – these fragile babies indeed need BFHI
Most interested in hearing Dr. Hale.
I would love to hear Dr. Hale
Dr.Hale, he has done so much for breastfeeding! I’d like the chance to hear whats new.
I always enjoy Dr. Hale but also hoping the Hinde lecture can provide some insight into significant obstacles at out institution to providing optimal support to moms and families.
I want to hear about pharmacotherapy and lactation from Hale!!
I am looking forward to hear all of them, but if I had to choose someone, I would like to personally meet Ana Parrilla!
Good morning! As a NICU nurse and IBCLC, I am looking forward to Laura Haiek discussion Beyond BFHI: The Expansion of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative to Neonatal Care.
Dr Hinde!
I would love to hear what Carlos Gonzalez says about growth charts!
Wow!! They all sound amazing, its hard to choose just one but, Carlos Gonzalez sounds interesting.
I’m most excited about hearing Dr Haiek. As a postpartum RN/IBCLC in a Baby Friendly hospital I’m interested in how to support our Level III NICU.
I’m excited to learn from Dr. Haiek’s presentation!
Dr. Carlos Gonzalez! His book was very interesting.
It’s a great line up, Dr. Hale then Dr. Haiek in close second!
I am excited to listen to Dr Carlos Gonzalez,. Always a pleasure to learn from him
I would love to hear Dr. Hale speak! His research has helped so many women including myself!
Since you ask us to pick just one presentation, I’ll say Dr Katie Hinde, as her topic is an area I would like to focus on at this time.
I’m excited to hear the talk on growth chart use and misuse.
What a line up! I would be most excited to hear Katie Hinde’s talk on the Organizational Effect of Mother’s Milk on Infant Outcomes. As a nurse and IBCLC whose first college training was in Anthropology, I marvel at the ways mother’s milk continues to strengthen and shape our species!
I am very excited to listen to Carlos Gonzalez AND Thomas Hale. These men have been very instrumental in my own walk as a mother and as a advocate for other moms in my area. I would love to be chosen. Thanks for the opportunity.
Dr Hale.
Dr. Padilla-Rodriguez is my choice because I live in Puerto Rico and the island needs all the support it can get to get breastfeeding now rates up. Dr. Padilla-Rodriguez is helping so many women in a place where the odds are stacked against them, especially with the Zika virus threatening the island. Baby Friendly Certification is so important because a birthing facility that is friendly and respectful of breastfeeding provides a great starting point for mothers!
I’m a LLL leader and would love to hear Dr. Hale!!!
I would love to hear Dr. Carlos Gonzales!
I would love to hear Carlos González <3
I am eager to hear what amazing information Tom Hale will bring to us. I learn so much every time I hear him speak!
I want to see Tom Hale!
Looking forward to Thomas Hale and Carlos Gonzalez. As a nurse, sometimes I hear that breastfeeding patients are wrongfully advised not to bf based on the fact that they are on a certain medication. Any new research on this raises my interest. I’m also eager to hear about growth chart use and misuse 😊
I would love to hear dr. Thomas Hale!
Thomas Hale!
So hard to choose just one, but would love to hear Thomas Hale. Get so many questions about medications, and there is so much misinformation out there on the topic!
Laura Haiek – I do a lot of work around BFHI.
Katie Hinde or Dr. Hale!
